Sci\ART 12-tone personal colour analysis
Find the twelve tones that were always yours.
TwelveTone places you on Munsell's three axes — hue, value and chroma — then builds outfits that respect your palette, your facial contrast and the 60-30-10 rule.
No account needed to start. Your photo is analysed and then discarded — we never store it.
What TwelveTone actually measures
Your sub-season, not just a season
Twelve archetypes, not four. Eight neutral sub-seasons sit between the pure archetypes, so olive, multi-ethnic and neutral-dominant complexions are placed on the axis that actually governs them — lightness, depth, clarity or softness.
Your facial contrast
We measure the grayscale step between your skin, hair and eyes, and the hue spread across them. Alan Flusser's rule is that an outfit's internal contrast should mirror the wearer's own — high-contrast faces need crisp light-to-dark, low-contrast faces need tonal transitions.
Outfits with real structure
60% dominant base, 30% secondary layer, 10% accent. Sandwich dressing brackets the silhouette. Visual weight sits low. Saturation stays asymmetric so one piece can lead.
Two ways in
The 7-step questionnaire
Vein colour, sun reaction, jewellery resonance, natural hair pigment and iris depth. Each answer casts a weighted vote on the hue, value and chroma axes rather than voting for a season directly.
Photo draping
OpenCV locates your face, samples forehead and cheek pixels, discards glare and shadow, clusters what remains in CIELAB, and measures the distance to each season's calibrated skin cluster.
The twelve seasons
Each sub-season is defined by its dominant trait, not by temperature alone.
